The first stop for many travellers in South East Asia and the setting for numerous travel films (just think ‘the Beach’), Thailand, rightly so continues to attract tourists from all over the world.
With beaches to the South, the vibrancy of Bangkok, through to the more relaxed cities like Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai of the north, there is so much to explore. The question is what are you waiting for?
After so many years of being the place to go to, Thailand is so well geared for tourism that it makes travelling very easy. Yes, it can be overcrowded, and if partying on Khoa San Road or at the full moon party aren’t your thing – there are still so many places to see and so many things to do here. So we try and break it down to make it easy for you.
But probably our most important lesson for anyone wanting to explore, is making sure you hit Thailand at the right time to avoid those crowds.
