Oceania

An area that comprises Australasia (Aus and NZ), Melanasia, Micronesia and Polynesia, Oceania is the second least populated continent (or region). After Antarctica that is!

And also who has ever heard of Melanasia? It’s an area in Oceania with 4 countries, Vanuatu, Fiji, the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea. You’ve probably heard of them right?

But having family living in both Australia and New Zealand, and with James being half Kiwi, we are really excited to be travelling to both these beautiful countries on our round the world trip.

Do let us know if you have any recommendation on places to go to in Oceania – we’d love to hear from you.
