A continent close to James’ heart. He really got the travel bug as a wide-eyed 19 year old, backpacking around South East Asia for a few months. And now almost 19 years later he has returned to see how it has changed and whether he is still in love with Asia as he was then.

This time, it’s not all dorm rooms, cramped buses and solo travel – joined by Lee who is on her first ever backpacking trip – we will be travelling Asia with a bit more focus on mid-range travel. Although very conscious of budgets…

We started in Thailand, before heading to Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Indonesia and the Philippines. These are our newest posts, with all the latest information on what to do, where to stay, what to eat and maybe most importantly what to avoid!

We’ve also been able to visit other places across Asia through business travel over the last few years. Along with spending part of our honeymoon in Sri Lanka. A truly wonderful place and we think we have the perfect itinerary for a trip there!
