United Power installed the first large-scale battery storage system in Colorado:
➢ 4 Megawatt/16 Megawatt-Hour system
➢ Operational Fall 2018
➢ 900 square-mile service territory; 82,000 customer meters

Lecture will cover the goals, economics, benefits and challenges
of this system for a small electric utility.
