SECRES had a booth at the Cool Science Fair at UCCS, and the main attraction was smores, using marshmallows melted in a solar oven.  When the chocolate ran out, the marshmallows were still popular.  This is a popular even attended by hundreds of school-age children and their families

SECRES volunteers will also be available with our solar demo module at the Cool Science Festival’s Carnival Day,  October 5th, 2013 at the UCCS campus in Colorado Springs. If you have children in the Colorado Springs schools you will be notified of this event.  Make a point to bring your kids by the SECRES booth!
