Our speaker is Laurent Meillon,founding member of the Solar Thermal Alliance of Colorado (STAC) and Director, Capitol Solar Energy, LLC. Laurent will describe why Colorado is uniquely positioned to have the optimal solar thermal heating performance in the nation and describe how STAC is working to “make Colorado a global leader in solar thermal adoption, installation, manufacturing, and R&D to boost Colorado’s economy, generate jobs, and help build a sustainable energy future”. 

Laurent works for Capitol Solar Energy, installing and maintaining solar thermal systems for 30 years. He is able to answer questions about installing systems on homes or other buildings.

In the Pikes Peak region the annual Solar Tour and Expo is coordinated to immediately follow the Colorado Sustainability Conference on the last Saturday in October which is October 27th, 2012.
