What role can renewable energy play in our future? What are the water implications of future energy systems? What are the energy requirements for water systems? Jordan Macknick from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will answer these and other questions during his presentation on the Energy/Water Nexus.
Jordan Macknick is a member of NREL’s Energy Forecasting and Modeling Group in Golden, Colorado. Jordan has a master’s degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. His research includes the study of how energy, water and land use are interrelated.
This event is sponsored by the SE chapter of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society (SECRES). It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
